Inclusive Homebirth Midwife Care in Northern Colorado
Nurturing community, honoring traditions, and providing home-based, inclusive midwifery care for every stage of life.
about our team
At Community Roots Midwife Collective, we provide compassionate, community-rooted care that supports people through birth, healing, and all stages of reproductive life. Our team of experienced midwives and practitioners brings together clinical skill, ancestral wisdom, and deep respect for each person’s story and identity. As a nonprofit, we’re committed to making midwifery care accessible and affirming — especially for those often excluded from conventional health systems. Whether you’re preparing for a homebirth, seeking postpartum support, or connecting with our community offerings, you’ll find care that is grounded, collaborative, and centered on your needs.
Full-spectrum Midwifery Care
Our approach honors the physiologic process of birth while centering each client’s autonomy, comfort, and cultural needs. We walk alongside families with trust, skill, and deep respect for the transformative power of birth.
Our Collective was founded in 2016 by midwives called to respond to the lack of accessible midwifery care and the deep health disparities facing BIPOC, low-income, and other under-resourced communities.
We center those historically excluded from traditional healthcare systems, including LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, youth, and people living in midwifery care deserts. At CRMC, you're not just welcome, you're seen, valued, and held in a model of care grounded in justice, relationship, and healing.

Ancestral Womb and Postpartum Care Program
Healing after birth is a potent and vital part of life.
In collaboration with Harvest of all First Nations (HAFN) and Drylands Agroecology Research (DAR), we are bringing healing treatments as well as reproductive and emotional health education and support to communities in Denver/ Boulder Front Range.
We couldn’t do this without the support and generosity of our donors. Your contributions help grow our birth fund and make midwifery care more accessible to families who might otherwise be excluded. If you're able, please consider making a tax-deductible donation today. You can also support us by sharing our work and donation page with friends, family, or anyone who believes in community-based, homebirth midwifery care.
