Meet The Doulas

Stephanie Minnaert

Stephanie (she/her) is a birth and postpartum doula, placenta encapsulation specialist, and overnight infant care support. She received a full-spectrum doula certification through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings (BADT) in 2021 and is continuing her education in midwifery, as life allows.

Stephanie’s philosophy of birth is rooted in supporting families through conception, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum as a form of empowerment and initiation. She believes every family deserves support that honors their choices and protects their space. She uses her skills and intuition as a caregiver to support families during this deeply transformative time.

Stephanie’s passage into birthwork began at the point of conception with her first child in 2018. This birth experience awakened her to the calling of community care, midwifery, and birth as a launch point for building resilient families. Stephanie is a strong advocate for people within her care and has an innate sense of attunement for her clients’ needs.

She loves working with different types of families and identities including single/solo parents, queer folks, and nontraditional family dynamics and in various birth settings.

Stephanie lives in Longmont, CO with her two kids and two kitties. In her freetime, she loves running up a mountain, playing in the dirt, and studying astrology. Stephanie also works in the nonprofit space and has done so for over 15 years including working with Community Roots Midwife Collective as the Fundraising & Operations Coordinator.

Offerings include: prenatal, birth and postpartum care, placenta encapsulation, and infant overnight support. Contact Stephanie for an initial consultation and to learn more about her offerings.
